Description

The Trident LMG-MP by Krytac is an updated iteration of a highly successful and recognizable AR-15/LMG hybrid replica - an elegant yet highly versatile mix in a compact and lightweight package. Compared to the previous iterations, the -MP model replaces the Keymod slots with a more common M-LOK interface system and introduces numerous enhancements to the gearbox and utilized elements. It is also devised as a "Para" model, making it a "smaller brother" to the full-sized Trident as it puts extra emphasis on maneuverability in the field rather than brute force and suppressive fire.  

The LMG-MP is manufactured using modern casting and machining technologies. The upper and lower receiver, barrel, and collapsible stock are made from metal alloys. The lightweight handguard is CNC-machined from aluminum. All elements are layered in a matte black, scratch-resistant, anti-reflective coating. This technique protects the replica from the most common external damages and rough treatment in the field.
Smaller elements like takedown pins and QD slots are machined from steel for superb durability.
Only the pistol grip, stock, and magazine are made from high-quality polymers that are both durable and lightweight.

The LMG-M utilizes a standard AR-15 lower receiver, well-known for its excellent ergonomics and aftermarket parts compatibility. It accepts both standard AR-15-pattern magazines and dedicated, high-capacity box magazines.
The Trident is outfitted with an ambidextrous selector switch and a magazine release button that allows comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users—a feature crucial in the dynamic, high-speed environment of airsoft fields and arenas.
The upper receiver is the primary element that makes the difference. It is modeled after the MCR machinegun receiver and features a charging handle on the left side and a hinged, spring-button-secured top cover with a single Picatinny rail. The modified upper mimics the looks and operation of a real, belt-fed equivalent. A 228mm long aluminum outer barrel holds the 310mm high-precision inner barrel with a diameter of 6.03mm. The barrel ends with a bird-cage-type flash hider attached via a 14mm CCW thread.
The low-profile, collapsible stock is comfortable and easily adjusted to users' build and preferences. It has an anti-slip rubber pad and QD slots for attaching carry slings.

At the front of the replica, we can find a high-quality free-float aluminum handguard with eleven M-LOK attachment slots - three slots at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock and two at 6 o'clock. An additional two-slot Picatinny rail section is placed on the gas block, which, combined with a single long RIS rail on the top of the receiver, allows the shooter to attach any accessories suitable to their preference or mission requirements.

The heart of the replica is a reinforced, Gate Titan-ready Nautilus V2 gearbox outfitted with 8mm high-performance bearings, a ported full metal piston, a high-torque motor, and a quick spring change system. Strengthened elements significantly increase the product's reliability and durability. The inclusion of a rotary hop-up system stabilizes the BB more efficiently, granting better range and consistent accuracy.
Additionally, the electronics are upgraded with an enhanced FET system with active braking, low battery detection, and an e-trigger with a micro switch. All of those technical solutions translate directly to superb trigger reactions, lower power consumption, and superb protection of the electric circuit from power surges.

Thanks to its high-quality materials, precise engineering process, and well-thought-out construction, the Trident LMG-M is a perfect light machine gun—compact enough not to hinder maneuverability in the field yet potent enough to provide accurate and suppressive firepower during simple airsoft skirmishes and complicated milsims alike.
