The MP7 A1 GBR, manufactured by Heckler & Koch, is a compact, gas-blowback submachine gun replica that boasts a detailed reproduction of the appearance of the parent firearm. The HK MP7, belonging to the Personal Defence Weapon category, was proposed along with the FN P90 as a firearm to meet the NATO requirements from year 1989 for a compact and lightweight weapon to defeat Soviet-issued body armor. The idea was to arm the second-line soldiers like drivers, clerks, and supply teams with a weapon that could pierce the bullet-proof vests of Soviet paratroopers and Spetsnaz units during the possible escalation of the Cold War.
It was designed from the ground up as a firearm for second-line soldiers, but it hasn't been used in its intended role. Instead, it actually found its way into the special forces branch thanks to its compact dimensions and armor-piercing properties of used ammunition. It is worth emphasizing that the weapon is commonly employed by German KSK, US Navy Seals, and US Secret Service agents.

The MP7A1 replica weighs around 1940g, is 418 mm long, uses a 240 mm inner barrel, and provides a magazine capacity of 40 rounds. It is a gas blowback replica with a well-proven gas system that propels the BBs. In stock configuration, the MP7A1 offers an optimal rate of fire and generates approximately 328 FPS / 1J using 0.20 BBs.

The barrel, inner mechanism, muzzle device, sights, and trigger are manufactured from metal. On the other hand, the body, the stock pad, and the foldable front grip are injection molded from a matte, non-slip textured polymer. The replica has an upper Picatinny rail to increase the adaptable surface for additional equipment, such as red dot and laser sights.
