While not as well-known and famous as more iconic AK replicas in LCT's offer, AIMS is one of the more exotic models available on the market. As a “distant relative” to the classic variants, AIMS shares a striking visual and technical resemblance to the rest of the AK family. This model is supplied with a distinctive handguard, a wire stock, and a metal magazine.
The full-length barrel makes this model a great option for mid to long-range engagements on the airsoft fields.
The factory-mounted front section was replaced with a recognizable plywood handguard with a foregrip. The barrel is outfitted with a 14 mm CCW thread and can take various muzzle devices.
Thanks to the redesigned wired, and right-side-folding stock, it is simple to transport and stash. A solid construction helps with faster aiming down the sights. For mounting dedicated optical devices, an AK-style dovetail rail is riveted to the left side of the receiver.
The amount of craftsmanship and attention to detail give the end-user feeling of a real firearm - almost all metal parts are made of metal. The elements like the body, magazine, dust cover, outer barrel, sights, stock, and muzzle device are machined of steel. The only polymer-made part is the pistol grip.
The heart of the AIMS is a reliable and precisely made V3 gearbox that provides optimal performance and grants a solid base for further tuning.
